Give something homemade this Christmas, without spending a fortune or a week in the kitchen.

A jar of cookie mix layered in neat stripes of sugar and chocolate, tied with ribbon and a handwritten tag, says “I thought of you” in a way a store-bought present never can. Most of these gifts cost just a few dollars each to make.
